We were referred to Courtney and Adam by our previous bride and groom Leslie and Bobby (see their blog here) late last year. Knowing how awesome Leslie and Bobby are, we figured this wedding would be chock-full of awesomeness and boy were we ever right! Starting with the incredible Boojum Tree as their wedding venue(our first time in this amazing venue even though I grew up within miles of this place), the incredible details, the wonderful guests, the amazing family and friends/parents, and of course the brilliant bride and groom, the entire day was just unreal! Everyone was so kind, accommodating and wonderful to us throughout the day.
Dusty joined us on third camera for the event, providing a ton of incredible details and interesting perspective on things. We had a multitude of amazing spaces to shoot in, and got to really have fun with off-camera flash and experiment with some ideas. We had a great time and can’t wait to work at Boojum Tree again soon. We wish Courtney and Adam the best and are so glad they asked us to be part of their amazing Phoenix Arizona wedding!
We also wanted to take a moment to express how grateful we are for the wonderful marriage equality portion of their ceremony. It was very thoughtful and heartwarming to see a couple recognize that they are allowed to do something (because of their gender) others (because of their gender) cannot.
